Welcome to St Mary's Church of England Primary School

Welcome to our school!

Our Christian vision is ‘Love your neighbour as you love yourself’ taken from the parable of The Good Samaritan.

This inspires us to be the best version of ourselves in order that we may flourish, mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually; serve others and live life in all its fullness.

We believe that by creating a caring and secure learning environment, children can grow in confidence enabling them to learn and develop to their full potential.

St Mary's Church of England Primary School is a member of the St Edmundsbury and Ipswich Diocesan Multi Academy Trust. As a Church of England school, our ethos of tolerance and mutual respect for all people, regardless of faith or belief, is embedded in all we do. See here for our MAT wide Christian and British Values.

As a school, all we do is underpinned by our school values of:

  • Respect
  • Responsibility
  • Creativity
  • Perseverance
  • and Wisdom

We currently have 192 pupils at our school and welcome children from all areas and all backgrounds. If you would like to find out more about St Mary's, please come and visit us. Just phone for an appointment and we would love to show you around.
