Admission to St Mary’s is controlled by the Governors who have agreed an admission limit of 30 pupils.Application should be made on the County Council’s standard form (CAF1). Applicants must also complete an additional SIF Form. This requests details of the family’s Church membership and the name of the Incumbent, Minister or Clergyman, who is asked to sign the application. The SIF and any letters of support should be returned to the school. The CAF should be returned to the Area Education Office. Applications will be awarded points according to the published policy and places offered to the children gaining the most points in order that the total number of admissions equals 30. Applicants not offered a place are added to a waiting list that is maintained in rank order of points awarded.
Applicants will be sent notice of the result of their application directly from the Area Education Office. St Mary’s operates a points policy for admission.
